I would want to be a part of Jamestown. In Plymouth, all of the people that lived there were treated unfairly. I wouldn’t want to have been treated unfairly. Also, I wouldn’t want to be with one hundred Separatists! I would want to be a part of Jamestown because they were a hard-working town.

John 3:16 says For God so loved the world he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in Him shall never die but have eternal life!

Cloud Lab

Yesterday, I saw the coolest thing outside in the sky. We got the binoculars and looked at it. It was a blimp that said cloud lab on the side of it. We got on the computer and looked it up. The website cloudlab.com said this. It is the biggest blimp in the world and it has a experimenting lab inside of it. They are finding microscopic life in the clouds. Also, It is owned by an Orlando company that is on a science expedition for a British Broadcasting Corp. television project. Jonathan Renouf says “The point of this is to combine some science with some entertainment.”  It is 200 feet long and recently spent a week on flights over Orlando and Titusville. It’s a flying laboratory, packed with instruments that will study clouds’ behavior and chemistry, listen to the sounds made by bats and birds, probe atmospheric gases and measure Earth’s surface features. The cloud lab airship spent one night in Ocalas and was to fly the next day to Gulf Shores, Ala. For the next few weeks, it will follow the Gulf Coast to New Orleans and Houston lingering there to examine the atmosphere for pollution. The remainder of the Cross- Country route will take in both wetlands and deserts, with the blimp passing over selected landmarks such as Austin, Texas, the Grand Canyon, and after about four weeks, San Francisco.

Math…

Math is my easiest subject. For some reason, my friends Olivia, Gracie, and Yahir are math geniuses. My favorite math song is Long Division Style. You can watch it if you scroll down the page. It is a really fun subject. I like division and multiplication the best. I hope I am in the math club next year in 6th grade. My mom was. In division, you have to divide the numbers in groups. Like if you do 18 divided by 6, you get 3 because you divide 18 into 6 groups. There are 3 in each group. But if you do 22 divided by 6, you get 3 with a remainder of 4. A remainder is the number left over. In multiplication you

Henry Hudson

June 1611

Explorer Gazette

No one really knows what happened to Henry Hudson. Will the world ever know? Long ago, Hudson wanted to search for the Northwest Passage. He did not find it. In June of 1611, his crew thought he was heading back home. But, when they found out he was heading west to search for the Northwest Passage again, they threw him, his son, and seven other loyal crewmen in a boat with no oars. No one ever heard from them again. I think this is what happened. Henry Hudson, and the rest of the people in the boat with him made it to an island but died because they couldn’t get to the other side where all the fruits where. They couldn’t catch fish because they all got away. That is how I think he died.

Juan de Onate y Salazar

Juan de Onate y Salazar was an explorer from Spain. In 1595 the Spain ruler sent Juan and another group of people to New Mexico to search for treasure and bring Christianity to local Indians in that area, unfortunately for Juan and his group it didn’t turn out like they had planned it. It didn’t work out because there wasn’t any treasure and the Indians were brutal and didn’t want to listen to Juan. So Juan started killing and hurting the Indian men, women and children.
