Presents!!!

“Christmas! Christmas!” my two year old brother tried to say at 7:30 Christmas morning. “Okay, let’s go,” said my mom. My brother was so anxious to get his first gift. When we got into the living room, he took the biggest gift that read: MARSHALL. He has never opened a present all by himself before. We all sat down on the couch and watched him as he struggled to carry the big present to the living room floor. He looked at the pretty, shiny, big blue box confused at first, but then he started ripping the wrapping paper off piece by piece. We all cheered him on. As I watched him open his big gift, I noticed the huge grin on his face. As he tore off more of the wrapping paper, I saw something yellow. It was a bright yellow robot! He absolutely loved it! He still plays with it and he’s about to turn 7. I learned a valuable lesson. Watching others get joy can be joyful for you.
